Sir,–Your correspondent, Mr. Seton Gordon, suggests through the columns of your esteemed paper that you should a certain for the benefit of your readers the manner in which the six leading pipers render Toarluath and Crunluath.
Is it not a fact that Mr. Seton Gordon has judged each of the six pipers who he considers to be the leading players?
That being the case, I fail to see the necessity of Mr. Seton Gordon making such an enquiry.–I am, etc.,
