The following song is by the late John Campbell, Ledaig. It has been adapted to an old air, named in a book of Strathspeys and Reels, by Donald MacLaren, Taymouth, “Miss MacDonald, Kinloch Moidart’s favourite.” It would be interesting to know the right name of the tune, which suits the present words admirably.
