Sir,–seeing that your correspondent Mr. MacLennan praises the above music so highly, would he be good enough to say whether there is any other existing collection where we can see such piobaireachd written. The step now taken by the Music Committee is a serious one. The tunes are most incorrectly written; they are no more ancient piobaireachd; and it is a great pity that the Piobaireachd Society’s name is associated with it.–I am, etc.,
